Gulf Winds Promotes Jennifer Woodfin to Vice President of Deposit and Payment Operations

Gulf Winds Credit Union is pleased to announce the promotion of Jennifer Woodfin to Vice President of Deposit and Payment Operations. In this role, Woodfin will strengthen operational functions, including payment processing, overdraft programs, fraud mitigation, IRA support, and other member-centered initiatives, while ensuring credit union operations remain compliant.
With over thirty-six years of diverse financial service experience, Woodfin has proven to skillfully navigate initiatives in the digital payments landscape and credit union industry. As Vice President of Deposit and Payment Operations, she will lead Gulf Winds’ Account Administration and Payment teams to drive the accountability and improvement of processes that will support the member experience.

Woodfin began her career with Gulf Winds as a Proof Operator in 1990. Over the course of three plus decades, she has displayed a dedication to finding innovative solutions for our members and impactful ways to strengthen our community, earning her consistent progression into leadership roles, including Assistant Vice President of Payments.
Throughout her tenure, Woodfin has earned numerous organizational awards for her outstanding service and multiple recognitions, including the Certified Payments Specialist Accreditation, Certified IRA Specialist, Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master, a Landrum Financial Leadership Certification, and a professional certificate in Management from the University of Notre Dame College of Business.

Passionate about serving the community, Woodfin dedicates her time to several non-profit organizations including the Ronald McDonald House of Northwest Florida, Manna Food Pantry, Escambia County 4H Club, and the Council on Aging of Northwest Florida.
