The University of West Florida and Gulf Winds Cares Foundation are partnering to put on a series of free financial workshops, open to the public. These workshops cover different financial topics presented by experts in the fields of accounting and personal finance.  

The next workshop is Wednesday, November 16, 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm at the Earl J. Bowden Building (120 W. Church St.) in Downtown Pensacola. Rich Preston, Branch Manager for NEXA Mortgage, will lead the workshop titled Navigating the Home Loan Process. Mr. Preston will be discussing the difference between getting pre-qualified verse pre-approved, the criteria that determines how much someone can borrow, and how to get approved, stay approved and plan for the future of a home mortgage loan.
