September was full of gifts and giving at Gulf Winds Credit Union. Check out the impact our employees made. 

Manna Food Pantry 

On Wednesday, September 4, our team enjoyed volunteering at Manna Food Pantries. We spent our time stamping food distribution bags with Manna’s logo along with counting and sorting instant oatmeal packets for backpacks, providing nutritious meals to over 600 children. 

Our impact:   
- 15 total volunteer hours   
- 301 meals provided to those in need 

Studer Family Children's Hospital at Ascension Sacred Heart 

On Thursday, September 12, Gulf Winds brought the luau to our local children's hospital, Studer Family Children's Hospital at Ascension Sacred Heart. We had a heartwarming day bringing smiles and island vibes to the kids with a fun-filled luau. We are grateful for the opportunity to brighten their day and share some aloha spirit. 

$2,500 Gift to ReadyKids! 

On Tuesday, September 17, Gulf Winds proudly gave $2,500 to ReadyKids, an organization that prepares our youngest learners for school. This gift will fund a school’s ReadingPals program, where up to 54 children from pre-k to 3rd grade meet with mentors to develop literacy skills, build relationships and confidence, and reinforce a love for reading.
