At Gulf Winds, we are truly thankful for our members. Every year, we look forward to Member Appreciation Day as a chance to celebrate the people who make our credit union strong. This year, the event was bigger than ever, growing into a joyful two-day celebration filled with fun, connection, and community spirit.

Halloween Treats and Surprises | October 31

Members kicked off the festivities by visiting their favorite branches for sweet Halloween treats, refreshing lemonade, and a chance to win $100 VISA gift cards. It was a cheerful way to start the celebration and connect with members across all our physical locations.

Community Fun at Nine Mile Branch | November 1 

The celebration continued the next day at our Nine Mile Branch in Pensacola. Members enjoyed food freshly grilled by members of our team, exciting giveaways, and live music from local artist Jordan Chase. We also included fun for everyone with kids’ sports games, face painting, and caricature drawings.

Randomly selected members also won money through participating in our Blizzard of Dollars! This game was a fun way to give back to those who make our credit union successful.

We were also honored to welcome several local partners who helped make the day even more special. These included the Pensacola Blue Wahoos, Cat Country 98.7, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Florida, Manna Food Pantry, Ronald McDonald House, Council on Aging of West Florida and Pensacola Habitat for Humanity. Their support added a wonderful sense of community to the event.

Celebrating All Members, Near and Far

We know not everyone could attend in person, so we made sure all members had a chance to join the celebration. Through an online social media contest, members could participate from anywhere and enter for three chances to win $100 VISA gift cards!

This event reflects our ongoing commitment to recognizing and celebrating the incredible people who are part of the Gulf Winds family.
