AMERICA SAVES WEEK IS FEBRUARY 27 - MARCH 3, 2023!
What is America Saves Week?
Since 2007, America Saves Week – a national campaign, co-sponsored by America Saves and the American Savings Education Council – has been a call to action encouraging individuals and families to do a financial check-in that allows them to get a clear view of their finances, set savings goals, and create a plan to achieve them. This year's America Saves Week theme is "A Financially Confident You." Over the past few years, the America Saves organization has been exploring what it means to be financially confident. As they’ve talked to Savers, they’ve been able to define the emerging phrase as this: Financial confidence is the intersection of building a savings habit, knowing what resources you have available to support your financial stability, and taking advantage of those resources as needed.
You see, financial confidence goes beyond financial literacy, education, and the amount that’s in your bank account. Financial confidence is inclusive in that it recognizes that Savers have unique circumstances, and even if you are in a scenario that makes it difficult or impossible to save at this moment — you are committed to doing the work, taking control of your finances, and becoming more financially stable. Each day of America Saves Week will have its own theme that touches on five important areas of financial wellness:

- Tuesday, February 28, 2023 | Saving for the Unexpected
- Wednesday, March 1, 2023 | Saving for Major Milestones
- Thursday, March 2, 2023 | Paying Down Debt is Saving
- Friday, March 3, 2023 | Saving at Any Age
