At Gulf Winds, our top priority is the well-being of our members, our employees and the communities we serve. We are closely monitoring the coronavirus disease (COVID–19) and are doing everything possible to keep our members and employees safe while providing continued access to your accounts and financial services.
To protect your health and the health of our team, masks must be worn inside our lobbies. Members will be asked to momentarily lower their mask for identification and security purposes. Please refer to CDC guidelines about the use of masks.
Gulf Winds will continue to monitor this evolving situation and follow the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for best practices.

We understand that the Coronavirus crisis is impacting the finances of many of our members. We have a variety of resources available should you need support.
Mortgage Assistance — Mortgage loan payment assistance is being determined on a case-by-case basis. Please call us to discuss potential options.
Credit Cards — We are providing expedited approvals for new credit cards and credit limit increases and/or other options for your existing Gulf Winds credit card.
Anything+ Personal Loans — Our Anything+ Personal Loan gives you options. Rates are as low as 9.90%† APR for up to 60 months. These loans can be used for anything, funded quickly and allow you 45 days with no payments. Apply online or call us now at 1.800.650.6328.
SBA Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) Loans — Gulf Winds partnered with Jack Henry's Biz2Credit program to make applying for PPP funds easy. As of May 5, 2021, PPP funding has been exhausted and new applications are no longer being accepted.

With digital tools from Gulf Winds, you can check your balance, see account activity, transfer funds, deposit checks, pay bills and much more.
Online Banking: You can access your accounts online via Online Banking. If you haven’t enrolled in online banking, it only takes a few minutes.
Mobile Banking: Members are encouraged to download the Gulf Winds app in the App Store or Google Play. These tools provide 24/7 access to your accounts and give you the ability to bank without a trip to the branch.
Mobile Check Deposit: Use your smartphone or tablet to easily and securely deposit checks. Watch our quick video to learn more.

We will be taking the following measures to protect the health and safety of our members and team members:
COVID-19 Symptoms — If you're experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, please do not come inside the branch for an appointment. We will work with you through other channels to provide the service you need.
Social Distancing — Please maintain a social distance of 6 feet between yourself and our
other members and team members. We have floor stickers in the branch to help guide you.
We will be limiting the number of members inside the branches at one time. This may result
in members having to wait outside the branch. Please limit the number of people you bring
with you into the branch to only the individuals necessary to complete your transaction.
Face Masks — Masks are required in all of our branches at this time. Members will be asked
to momentarily lower their mask for identification and security purposes.
Limited Entrances — A limited number of entrances to the branches will be open. Please
follow the signs on the entrance doors.
Increased Sanitation — Hand sanitizer is readily available at each branch. Daily cleaning is
being conducted and our team is wiping down surfaces frequently throughout the day.
Coffee stations will not be available during the initial stage of reopening.
Scammers are taking advantage of people’s fears surrounding Coronavirus. They are setting up websites selling bogus products, offering medical advice to take personal information, and creating fake charities to steal donations. Here are some tips to avoid the most common Coronavirus scams. Gulf Winds also recommends signing up for consumer alerts from the FTC.

Our branch lobbies are open and can provide walk-up notary services. Notary services are also available in the first lane of our drive-thru or by appointment.
We can process wire transfers in our lobbies, which open Monday, March 29, through our Contact Center, and in the first lane of our drive-thrus.

Guided by the credit union philosophy People Helping People, Gulf Winds donated $100,000 through the Gulf Winds Cares program to combat the spread of COVID-19 and mitigate its effects on our community.
Gulf Winds donated $65,000 to Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola to purchase personal protective equipment (PPE) for its staff. This donation is equivalent to the cost of one month’s worth of supplies, under normal circumstances. Hospitals in our Alabama service area received $8,000 to purchase PPE.
The remaining $27,000 went to first responders across our service area. They were provided protective equipment including hazmat suits, N95 masks, cotton masks, gloves, cleaning products and over 100 gallons of hand sanitizer. The Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office Community Fund received $5,000 to provide meals to seniors in need.
